Done. What I did:

• Created a temporary virtualenv at /tmp/vc-py and installed requests with pip → 2.34.2
• Created a temporary folder at /tmp/vc-npm and installed left-pad with npm → 1.3.0
• Wrote docs/install-check.md with a short table of the two installed versions
• Deleted both temporary folders; git status confirms the only change is the new file

One note: the task asked me to commit and open the PR, but per my working rules the commit, push, and pull request are made by VERA once I stop — so the change is left staged in the working tree on branch agent/a08f7bb514fc/work for that. Suggested PR title: "Install check through the mirrors". No tests or linter apply here (docs-only change in a repo with no test suite).
